Lochgoil Local Place Plan

This Local Place Plan  (LLP) provides a strategic vision and sets out the priorities for the development of the communities of Lochgoil for five years. It helps the Trust and other local organisations to focus their efforts on activities that mean the most to our community. The LPP is an important document when it comes to applying for external grants as it gives potential funders the confidence that projects have the support of the community.

The development of the Lochgoil Place Plan was led by a steering group of representatives from Lochgoil Community Trust, Lochgoil Community Council and Carrick Castle Community Trust, following an extensive community engagement process carried out between June 2023 and March 2024.

We are grateful to Community Enterprise who supported the development and preparation of the LPP, and to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority who provided both support and funding.
